Lawry's wobbly left front tooth is finally fallen out during the snack time this morning.

This is the 5th fallen-out tooth, and he hid it under his pillow to wait for the shiny coin reward by tooth fairy tonite.

Lawry had a 2-hr intensive swimming class this afternoon. He told me that he felt so good about working out and saying it's a great exercise! Coach told me that he at least swam for about 700M during 2 hr. What a great job done!

He kicked out his shoes today!

First time, Ms. Gibbs told him not to cuz you will lost your shoes!

And moments later, he did it again and this time, he kicked his shoe away to the back of the cupboard. So, he had to deal w/ himself to ask Ms. Gibbs to help him to find out the shoe. Luckily Ms. Gibbs helped him to move the cabinet and get the shoe out!

Later in Charlene's class, he lost his focus again. And he kept disturbing other kids while doing things in his own way. Charlene even said that he is spoiled other's quality time in reading!

I am so mad at him!

I must share that every time I see Lawrence in the school day (and I see him around the building when I work with other kids as well), he looks so happy this year! It's so nice to see him enjoying himself :) He always greets me with a smile and I love that he brings in something special to share with me. Today he brought in a magic school bus book and taught me all about bones ;) I'm really seeing him spread his wings this year!

He did marvelously during our lesson today, which was on listening skills--more specifically, paying attention when someone else is listening. I asked him how he could tell I was listening to him when he was telling me about his book, and he was able to tell me (with a only a little prompting from me) that I used my ears, I looked at him, I paid attention to him, I was interested in him, and that I asked him questions about what he was telling me. We then had an activity where we took turns "interviewing" each other, practicing our listening to others skills. Lawrence got a bit silly during this activity, but I could tell he did listen to what I was saying. Good job today Lawrence!

今天在往學校的路上, 我和zoe在聊天時說到：

zo, 你今天去學校要笑咪咪和大家說good morning! 媽咪給你一個hug和一個kiss就會離開囉！

不可以哭哭喔, 不然今天（下課回家）就沒有巧克力牛奶當點心喔！

樂在後座馬上傳來一句：mom, you said no threatening!

我連忙向他解釋說：

我沒有在威脅小妹啦！我今天早上吃早餐時小妹說要帶巧克力牛奶當點心, 我說不行！原因是他喝了牛奶就一定會吃不下水果/中餐! 所以我有和她約定好, 如果今天去學校上課沒有哭哭, 回家就可以有巧克力牛奶喝了！所以我只是在做一次提醒的動作！

小孩真的時時刻刻都在檢驗你啊～

今天在play ground, 樂與一位nursery的孩子相撞！因為兩人都沒看到彼此往自己的方向跑來！

可是樂被撞倒後, 不是先看看弟弟有沒有受傷, 而是低頭看看自己上週才掛彩的膝蓋有沒有流血！

請他去向弟弟道個歉說自己不是故意撞倒弟弟的, 也不是挺願意！

害得我一直得替他和弟弟的阿嬷道歉

幸好弟弟只有手肘處有些許擦傷的痕跡

看來要和樂提醒意外發生時的須知囉～

Zoe was having a rather hard time for her first day!

She was having attitudes and pouting all the time!

Like to grabbing stuff without asking other kids first and looking worried all the time!

I left her around 8:35!

Ms. Karen said she was good after I left and she also wore a smily face while I picked her up today!

Found a scratch on her left waist! Zoe told me that she was grabbing and pulling from other's toy!

今天光光老師在課後與我談到樂樂目前處於穩定的狀況！

除了與老師較熟悉了之後, 分際拿捏有時會較不恰當之外（身體界限/要求方式）

其餘都沒什麼太大的問題！

尤其在1-1的教學上更是察覺不出樂有什麼太過特殊的特質！

但是在團體的相處上, 關於自我情緒的管理, 以及過於直接了當的表達將會是樂今後的挑戰源頭！

光光老師提到“早療課程畢業（告一段落）“的想法！

我的心裡其實有點不安的

樂從第一次和光光老師碰面到現在已有將近2.5y (2008.10~2011.05)的時間

一直以來, 每週一次的職能治療一直是我和樂的情緒出口！

我們（樂和我）一起與光光老師發現問題, 處理問題, 調整問題, 解決問題！

實在很難想像如果有一天, 沒有了這每週一次的聚會

一旦碰到問題時, 我是該如何面對呢！

距離6月底還有一段時間,

樂與我要慢慢學習適應即將沒有光光老師的時間

Was complained about having swimming class twice a week in the morning time!

Said that he had a wonderful time w/ Mr. 光光 cuz they played shuffle on i-pad; this is to train his ability to figure out consequences!

Swimming class:

start w/ crawl stroke

then, backstroke

and then, breast stroke

finally, he had the time trial for the fun swimming contest on 5/29

47.94/47.03

The coach encouraged him that he can start practicing diving after he can break the record of 38sec.

Lori was pretty happy at the end of the class!

I want to brag on Lawrence! He did very well during our session yesterday! We worked on the social skills--manners. I turned the gamed "Go Fish" in to "Manners, Go Fish" in which we had to use 'Please', 'May I' and 'Thank you' for each turn or we lost our turn. Lawrence did marvelously! I was very impressed, especially since in a previous lesson, he refused to use his manners, insisting that he didn't need to use them. Lawrence definitely deserves an extra cuddle from you for how well he used his manners yesterday during our session. :)

Hello Kristin,

I'm sorry I couldn't email earlier, I was needed at the Center all of the afternoon. Since Lawrence requested it last week, I brought in the game I had made again. I was amazed that he remembered the rules and directions exactly--better than I did! Again, he did a good job playing the game, although he insisted that he has never felt some of the emotions on the game pieces. You might ask him about that. Next week we'll move on to something different--I don't want to wear out a good thing with the game by playing it too many weeks in a row!

Hello Kristin,

Lawrence and I had a great session today! I made a new game for he and I to play today and he did a fantastic job with it! I was really impressed with him! The game used a traditional set of tumbling blocks or Jenga as it's called in the States, but I wrote feeling words on the backs of the blocks. We then either had to act the emotion/tell a story about ourselves using the emotion word/or tell a story about someone else (in this case, my dog, Lance) using the emotion word. Lawrence did a fantastic job acting out the emotions. Some were hard for him, like bored and ashamed, but he tried. In the cases where it was hard, I tried to tell a story about Lance as an example (Lawrence likes to hear about Lance). I think he enjoyed the game because he asked me to bring it back next week so we can play again :)

I hope this email finds you and Lawrence well!

Lawrence is doing well, but I do think that he would benefit from a group setting too. He especially needs to work on social skills--he and I do are doing this, but it would be most effective it were with peers his own age. I'm looking out for others who would benefit from something similar that I could work more intensely with, but in the meantime, I'll continue my work with him one-on-one! He and I are still working on emotions, and manners as well--social skills :) Again, I'll make an especially hard effort to remember to write you what we specifically what we do in the session afterwards so that you can know what's going on as well as talk about it with Lawrence!

Happy New Year! Thank you very much for the gift! I got it last week when I went back to the office. It was very thoughtful of you, and much appreciated! :)

In the meeting with Lawrence today, we worked on a making a feeling game. To do this, we made oversized paper dice. Lawrence drew faces that showed emotions on them while I wrote 'Act' and 'Tell' on my dice. We then cut them out and folded them into cubes. Next time, we will play the feeling game which is to roll each of the dice, then we will either act out or tell about the emotion that was rolled. Lawrence was fixated on the emotion 'anger' today. Four of the six sides of the dice were angry faces (the other two were silly and happy). He was quite set on drawing anger no matter how much I suggested different. The positive side is that he was very enthusiastic about drawing the angry faces and he even demonstrated the face to me :) I will continue to work on relaxing Lawrence's rigid thinking as well as exploring feelings and broadening his social skills.

Lory told me that a child called Hector hit him on his chest w/ his fist, but he did not fight back!

I asked why?

L: "Because he was not behalf himself!"

K: "How so?"

L: "Because I was taking out his points?"

K: "What points?"

L: "Joyce (隨車阿姨）said that I (assigned leader) can taking out the points if kids were not sitting well in the school bus, so I did so to Hector in the playtime, and he doesn't like it, so he hit me!"

"He hit me while R--, Y--, and Na--- are around me, and I can't believe he dare to do that!"

Once again, he insisted that he did not fight back!

Ms. Woodall came to me and said that Lawrence goes and talks to her class everyday and smiles at her! She said that Lory is a bright boy!

Heather said that she saw Lory was walking with 3 girls (hand-in-hand)while she was bringing the lunch to Nat-Nat during lunch time. And that was a huge news for Lory c'z holding 3 girls hands (how?) and getting along with 'em freely... good boy!

2010 summer scrapbook

This summer we (Lawrence and I) spent some time to work on the summer scrapbook project. This project actually was assigned by the school before summer vacation but it's not a compulsory work. So, I thought it would be a great idea for Lawrence to start keep records on what he did throughout this summer.

It was a beyond description surprise that Lawrence did win this competition from his year group friends. Lawrence went on to the stage to accept this honor in front of everyone in Today's assembly. It truly was and will be a great encouragement on Lawrence, taking consideration that he was having a rather rough time during last semester.

Good job done, my Lory!

Principal, Mrs. Martin, also wrote a letter to Lawrence to honor him on winning this competition!

Dear Lawrence- You ARE A WINNER!

Thank you very much for your wonderful scrapbook. My daughter Sophie and my husband helped me to judge the competition and we all really enjoyed looking at all the scrapbooks. We particularly liked looking at the lovely drawings the children did, the photos they put in, and reading all the writing.

You obviously had a great summer Lawrence, going to so many interesting places and doing so many interesting things, you are a very lucky boy. It looks like you really enjoyed your holiday and putting your scrapbook together too. I loved all of the origami you did!

Today when I picked up Lawry at school, SEN teacher Nicole told me that I have to wait for another minute and I started to wonder why???

Then his teacher, Ms. Chang told me that "oh, he is enjoying his "Golden Time"!"

Guess what, teacher gave "tick" to those who followed the rules or behalf himself, and surprisingly my Lawry got 9 ticks yesterday! So, he got the golden time to do whatever he wish to do. Of course, he chose to play the on-line "educational" games.... speechless on his decision!

Also, Lawry started to bring back Turquoise color level (Level 7) book home (of course, accompanying with Orange color level (Level 6) book). Moving up 1 level in school reading! Well done, kiddo!

Lawry attended his 2nd Chess class (1.5HR) today, I was so afraid he couldn't make it to the end, but Teacher Tony said he was doing well in the class, and he did pay attention to what he was taught!

Today's homework: use 2 knight to capture all the opponent's 16 pieces.

One adult teeth just sprout right behind one of the wobbly one....

之後我一上車, Lawry 說：

那你以後叫我做事, 我也不要聽你的了

因為, 你自己也沒有做到（你說的話; 言外之意是我double standards）！

之後, 我忙著解釋我這麼做的原因之後, Lawry 接著說：

我知道....

可是, 你和漂亮姨說得都不一樣, 我都不知道要聽誰的了！

你們這樣讓我覺得我自己很不聰明耶

（覺得自己不聰明的感覺）這樣, 我很不開心耶！哼～

Has volunteered to be the parent rep. for the Seal class.

1st art class this semester

Lawry got a really nice piece of painting.

Material: corrugated paper (瓦愣紙)/acrylic pigment (壓克力顏料）

Basically teacher taught them how to observe the sunflowers placed in a glass vase by using magnifier from the flower petal/nectar/stem/leaves/and even the fine hair on the steam/also the leave vein (葉脈）

and asked them to have a dark background to highlight the main theme.

Here come Lawry's work, Mark once thought it's done by me!

上課前, 樂曾提到他不喜歡練習划手

也對, 同時要腳踢水, 轉頭換氣, 加上划手動作的確不容易

幸好, 姚老師也注意到這點, 今天的游泳課時刻意將划手練習取消, 只專心踢水+轉頭換氣

課程進行順利許多

樂也說, 我有很專心上課呢！

The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small,uninhabited island..

他天天激動地祈禱神救他能夠早日離開此處，回到家鄉。他還每天注視著海上有否可搭救他的人，但卻是除了汪洋一片，什麼也沒有。
He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him, and every day he scanned the horizon for help,but none seemed orthcoming.

後來，他決定用那片帶他到小島的木頭造一個簡陋的小木屋以保護他在這險惡的環境中生存，並且保存他所有剩下的東西。
Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect him from the elements, and to store his few possessions.

但有一天，在他捕完食物後，準備回小屋時，突然發現他的小屋竟然陷在熊熊烈火之中，大火引起的濃煙不斷向天上竄。
But then one day, after scavenging for food,he arrived h! om! e to find his little hut in flames, the smoke rolling up to the sky.

最悲慘的是：他所有的一切東西，在這一瞬間，通通化為烏有了。悲痛的他，氣憤的對天吶喊著：「神啊！你怎麼可以這樣對待我！」頓時，眼淚從他的眼角中流出。
The worst had happened; everything was lost. He was stunned with grief and anger. "God, how could you do this to me!" he cried.

第二天一早，他被一艘正靠近小島的船隻的鳴笛聲所吵醒。是的，有人來救他了。
Early the next day, however, he was awakened by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island. It had come t rescue him.

到了船上時，他問那些船員說：「你怎麼知道我在這裡？」
"How did you know I was here?" asked the weary man of his rescuers.

「因為我們看到了信號般的濃煙。」他們回答說。
"We saw your smoke signal", they replied.

Woke @7:10, we hurried to Taipei Main Station to take THSR to Zuoying.

He was quite okay on the train, still lots of questions.

Arrived at Zuoying, we transferred to local train to Gangsan. Lori kept asking about how to say the stop name in Chinese and English repeatly (He tried to pronounce it on his own)

In WP, he played w/ pyramid game, and designed a maze game and some pages of his math workbook. Was a chatter box while doing every steps!!

On the way home, he tried to take a rest, but couldn't fall asleep.

I asked him to write the stop names in his note book and found his handwriting is terrible.

Arrived home, I asked him to practice the alphabet writing (Capital/Lower case). Some were doing good and some were bad. When I asked him to rewrite, he started to get irritated and started bending his head and tears were in his eyes. Keeping saying "Mom, are you angry? I can feel that you're so angry to me!"

Finally, he had corrected some of his re-writing and we headed to mom's. On the way to mom, Lori said that mom you've been so mad at me, I am about not liking anyone on this world because of you. You know, you shouldn't be so tough on me....

Later at mom's, he was so upset about me not bring him his play toys and tried to became clingy on me again. I also find out that he blink his eyes quite often while get stressed and I showed him that what if I blinked my eyes just like he did and asked him what was his idea about it? Lori replied it was not very good looking!

I told him that once he finished his dinner before 18:30, he can watch Doraemon until 19:00.

And he managed to make it work and later he had banana chiffon cake and fruit/chicken soup when done the TV watching.

Later when we got home, he became so tame and took very good care of Zoe, and asked me if I can pamper Zoe to sleep alone and he would like to read his book in his room and I granted his request. He read a book that we bought in the bookstore with very little help while I was with him and later he read other 5 books before Dad came home and read him another bed time story book-Mooncake.

Comments from class teacher:

I have read Lawrence's psychological report - it is very interesting and hopeful. I will use the information to help me organize the lessons/class time to ensure Lawrence has as little stress as possible and hopefully a happier time.

On a positive note, he sat thru an entire assembly today (on a chair next to me) and even sang a little bit during singing time.

He brought home a reading book (blue label) with 400 words reader, a much more difficult reader than it's normal reader. Don't know why Ms. Mayhew let him choose this one. The first time reading was a little bit hesitated, but it went pretty well; just a little paused at the words like "Tortoise, Kay, guess.."

Since Lori was doing good yesterday at school, I took him to see a movie- “How to train your dragon馴龍高手“ in I-MAX theater in Miramax Shopping Mall. We wore a 3D effect eyewear thru a whole movie. Lawrence actually complained several times about the very loud speaker during watching the movie. But, I believed he enjoyed a lot in watching it!

When we arrived home yesterday, Dad was already at home. And Lori seemed very happy today, so he drew some maze and game plots on his own. And we read a book called "Olivia acts out!"

Went to Da-an Park this morning, and Lori actually did pretty good w/ his sis, zozo. He took care of zozo for some times, but also searched for my attention while not seeing me around.

After having his favorite spaghetti, he went to his room to take a rest as I told him. Unfortunately, he couldn't fall asleep at all. Instead, he was reading books, and tried to roll over and over in his bed, and was doing rather quite activities in the room. But I do notice a loud noise from his room once like try to phlegm out. And he managed to read the reader "The Tortoise" all by himself fluently.

Later we went to Grandpa's, he actually watched a lot TV and was games played by his cousins. And ate lots of snack than usual. While stayed in grandpa's, he liked to play games such as throwing balls and building blocks...

Tonight, he stayed at 婆's.

2010.03.05 Meeting with Head master- Mrs. Martin

Lawrence's anxiety has increased during this period, and he has been unintentionally hurting people around him.

ex.

Lawrence is hurting adults and children.

He is not intentional to do it..

I just think he is not being naughty, he just anxious

During the lunch time, he tried to scratch the assistant teacher using his claws just to want her to stay with him.

He wouldn't come into the classroom, he kept running out of the classroom.

maybe 3 or 4 times a day!

School tried a few things to keep him in the classroom, like basket works. whenever his anxiety level rises, he can go to the basket and fetch a paper to do/draw his favorite number works.

All those things showing that he is not learning, he is a bright boy and with natural intelligent.

But he is not ready to cope what is going on in this environment, he has got too much on his head.

Every time when he walked into the classroom, it's quite colorful, stimulating, those adults/children and movements; things like these are just too stimulating, and he can't cope with so he runs away.

Here comes some of the option that Ms. Gare and I have discussed.

1. 1-on-1 studying, and all the expenses shall be covered on your own.

2. Repeat the Reception Year again (to be decided in late May/early June)

3. Part time study (which has been successfully proved on other kids)

Before the assessment outcome been delivered, we will start from the option 3, and this will start from Mar. 15 2010

We tried to skip out the classes that causes the anxiety levels up, which are music (Mon/Thur), PE (Mon/Wed), assembly (Fri) and lunch time. Because we don't want him to be anxious and we do want him to start learning.

We really want the parent and the school to work together.

Mark's remarks:

What we observed from Lawrence is that he tends to play and work with kids who is elder than his age or adults. And also, he likes challenges. Thus, we don't quite feel comfortable that he will need to repeat the reception year once again.

However, as my point of view Lawrence actually lack of patience and he tends to back off while facing obstacle.

Student who need to go up to next level needs to assessed by 6 categories, which are PEHE, CLC, Math, KUW, C, P. And we want all these field to be balancedly developed.

His creativity is quite rigid.

He shows that he likes to learn only when he is in the mood of doing it.

He maybe scored highest level of Math and KUW; however he is really low at PEHE and C (creativity), so his curve is not balanced.

He definitely wants to make friends with other kids. As we observed that he is not isolated so far. We have been watching it very carefully and we wouldn't want that to happen.

Try to be positive to Lawrence while applying part time schedule for him. All we want is to help him to get used to this new environment in a least stressed way. And please don't worry about Lawrence at all, we will help him as best as we could.

Told by Ms. Gare that Lawrence is not getting improved lately but getting worse.

He demands much more attention from the class teacher and assistant teacher too. Have arranged a meeting w/ Head principle and Ms. Gare to better support him to adopt to school life sooner.

Told me that I have been very mean to him lately because I intervene most of everything that he wants to do. He often walked away before completely listen through what I have told him. Have trouble following the instruction and choose to what to listen and what to obey.

Still blinking his eyes while get stressed and anxious.

Mar. 4

Lawrence knocked on Yuan's head cuz she doesn't want to play with him.

So, I had a role play with Lawrence teaching him how to react while people said No to him.

At last, we come to conclusion that we can said "That's okay, maybe next time!" to those who maybe not in the mood to play w/ Lawrence. Or maybe a little nice treat to show friendly gesture would be nice way too!

Told Mr. 光光 that it's really fun to see all the colors mixing all together. This is about that he run around in the music classroom just want to experiment the color stimulate.

Mar. 5

Wake up 5 minutes early than ordinary schedule on his own.

Enter classroom in good mood.

Show me the work he did at school which is placed in the other classroom. This work is about filling sand in an empty bottle and poke a stick on top of sand work.

Not paying attention in extensive logic class, so I decide to suspend for 2 month until Lori's hyperactivity relieve.

Runs a lot in the evening.

Still hide under table.

Mar. 7

Went to a called Surfbeach restaurant in GinShan area with Families.

A cousin of mine brought a cute poodle called Mini, Lori loved her so much. He hug her and fed her snack and water... seldom see him so tender to treat a creature. Haha!!

Mar. 8

There is an assessment hold by Dr. Wilson starting from today. That will be a 3-day assessment work on Lori.

Arrived at school on bell-rang time, and stand by the door for a while as always.

Yuan reminded him that he forget to bring the folder into the classroom, but he coldly asked her "Go away!"

Started w/ a very passive attitude today!

Happily entered the classroom this morning!

Happily showed me his work (a tower made by bricks/ branches/ falling leaves)

He was taken out some points because of not listening by teacher who asked them to tidy -up and still stayed outside playing with his work. And insisted to ask Ms. Chou to take a photo.

Feb. 5, 2010:

Stayed in the car for a while when we arrived at school!

Hesitate to go into the classroom alone w/o Yuan.

Try to talk to Ms. Mayhew about he's hoping to bring Freddy the treefrog home again, but Ms. Mayhew told him that everyone has the chance to bring the toy home by turns.

Lawrence asked me to stay with him even after the school bell rang, but at last Ms. Mayhew asked me to leave, and I saw him sobbing and sitting on Ms. Mayhew's lap for a long while.

Refused to enter the classroom and cried.

Talked to dad for a while and showed the willingness to enter the classroom but still hide behind a mirror...

On the Friday of "Lawrence's week", he took a class pet called Flower the Dinosaur home for the weekend and she need to return to school on the following Monday. During the weekend, Lawrence is asked to take care of Flower and include her in family activities. And there is a journal included in Flower's bag for each family to share pictures and write down what they did over the weekend. Of course, on Monday, Lawrence will need to share with the class about what he did with Flower at our home.

Starting the week of Oct. 5, PA class has "Student of the week." This is a time to celebrate each child individually. They were sent home an '"All about Me" bag on the Friday before the week, and this bag shall bring to school the following Monday with some of each child's favorite things inside and also some pictures. Those pictures will be used to make "Special books." And the most special part is each child will be sent home at the end of the year with the "Special books" they made in the class.

Nov. 23 ~27, 2009 is Lawrence's week.

通常, 這是他最不愛的時段（據他所說, 是因為要畫畫！所以不喜歡！）

而老師呢會利用這短短的30~60分鐘時間,

做些勞作, 或者教他們字母的書寫以及相關的用語與字彙

這學期, 老師比較著重數學概念的啓蒙（像之前的pattern 或者邏輯與數字概念...)

這個作品, 我猛一看也不覺有什麼特別（覺得就是張塗鴉罷了！）

後來, 看到老師在這張紙後面的評語,

便覺得樂還真是個蠻有邏輯概念的孩子, Good Job Done!

身高明顯抽高之後, 綽號從之前大家習慣“肥知知“變成“肉肉知“

仍舊是個胃口很好的女孩！只要看到可以吃的東西, 從來沒有說No的時候！

目前計畫將逐漸把1日3 餐的主食(粥品)退役

至於十全大補食物泥, 仍舊需要stand-by

除了因為小妮子的乳牙至今只長了8顆(上下排各4顆), 所以無法將食物完全咀嚼後幫助腸胃吸收

所以, 看似隨意實為用心調配的“十全大補食物泥“是補充營養不可缺的祕方啊～～

上週清洗牙齒時發現, zozo 的上臼齒竟然左右個長了一顆

所以, 長牙目前進度邁向10顆（咻！還真慢耶～）

特別喜歡和哥哥一起用餐！

麵包, 饅頭類的早餐, 只要稍微處理成bite-size的大小, zozo 都可以自行進食, 完全不需讓人擔心

活動量依舊良好！

天氣好時, 一天至少要放風兩趟！

不過有時玩得太high, 所以大傷小傷不斷！

小傷.....: 完全是因為“叩頭（台語）“所致！我家小女, 前叩後叩, 再怎麼撞都是額頭兩邊...

除了是哥哥的小跟班之外, 也開始學會和哥哥鬥嘴（氣勢也不差呢！）

很快的, 樂也4Y7M了！

體重還是在21kg上下遊走（算是瘦巴巴一族）

身高依舊很超前, 約2個月前量時, 是 116cm (竟然已經到了該付錢買票的身高）

<語言能力>

目前是標準的雙聲帶（國語/英語); 中翻英或是英翻中都很okay!

（尤其有時老媽聽不懂他再說啥or唱啥時, 他會自動翻譯！）

喜歡聽台語童謠, 加上在婆（外婆）家的時候, 大家喜歡和他講台語, 所以常常會落一些台語（媽媽我唯一的concern是有天將無法在他人面前說他的543)

仗著自己愛聽波妞的歌並可哼上一段, 就會很耍帥的說 “媽！我會說日文對不對！？“
不過說真的, 樂樂除了會說あいうえお之外, 源自於天生對數字的狂愛, 數數倒是一流; 從3歲多就可從0數到100 （不過有時會走岔到台語數數去！哈哈！！）

目前,
中文口說能力還好, 不過有時會“卡“在聽到同音不同字的時候, 做過多的連結以及聯想！

所以要常常需要媽媽解釋來解釋去的, 粉累！

還有, 正在訓練他的口語表達能力 (包含用語）;

因為樂有時會表達得過於簡化, 而無法讓人了解他想要講的意思
還有, 最近剛開始對ㄅㄆㄇ注音符號表示興趣, 一想到什麼詞句或字, 就請你拼音！

總括來說, 就是個粉多話的孩子！

＜動作能力＞
目前, 手腳雙側協調度還不錯
可以雙腳併攏做前後左右跳的動作！也可以單腳做金雞獨立或跳跳跳的動作～

力氣控制仍有進步空間！
喜歡和人擁抱, 可是每次都是熱情到一副非把人撲倒不可的！不是每個人都承受的起的啊～

每次看他牽著zozo的手走路, 總覺得zozo的手會被樂扯痛; 看在樂主動照顧妹的分上, 所以我是不會太積極介入！而且zozo可是惜肉的小女生, 真的被扯痛, 她可是會出聲抗議的呢！

手部精細動作越來越純熟！
不論是書寫數字,字母, 注音符號... or 畫圖都可以看出筆順的流暢度, 而且寫字也不再那麼使力！撕紙, 折紙（會折扇子！）, 擰乾毛巾, 使用剪刀, 抓握物品... 都有明顯的進步

可能有感覺到自己手部能力的提升, 目前也喜歡完疊積木的遊戲, 尤其是疊疊樂（抽取以及放置積木時, 都很小心喔～）

<情緒表達>
偶爾會害羞躲在人後, 尤其是人家一直盯著他看時; 這時候, eye contact會很不好, 會呈現眼神游離的狀況

要不然, 其實算是個不怕生的孩子
之前, 看到陌生人最喜歡問的問題就是 “你家著幾樓？（尤其搭電梯時？）“ “你幾歲？（別人最常問他的問題）“

喜歡別人順從他的意見, 要不, 很容易生氣; very bossy sometime!

這是媽媽我目前最棘手的問題之一

算是個自我感覺良好的孩子;
目前正在調整他過於cocky的表達, 希望在他惹怒其他朋友前, 能讓他了解self-confidence is not cocky!

Other than that,
他是個貼心的孩子！（很多人都這樣說！）
因為
他過馬路, 會主動跟義交or 警察說 “謝謝！“
每天吃完學校點心, 會主動去跟做點心的老師, 說 “Thank you, Ms. Hsieh; It's good!" (老師說, 全校只有他會主動說謝謝！）
去小吃攤, 會跟老闆說, "你要小心喔！xx很燙喔...“ or 吃完後, 如果覺得很好吃, 還會走到老闆或廚師那說 “廚師, 謝謝！！
很好笑吧！

<其他>
目前強項仍然與數字脫離不了關係！
計算機是他的好友, 常常帶著到處玩！

99乘法已精通, 也因為如此, 等差級數更是難不了他（最多, 我們玩過1~10跳數到1000+/-)
簡單的二位數加減也還過的去
基本上來講, 只要是邏輯性高的遊戲他都很愛！

閱讀習慣已養成！
每天睡前必看書！
再加上學校老師為了鼓勵親子共讀所要求紀錄的Reading Log 更是一大助力！
目前, 除了練習看字發音之後, 識字能力也大增; 有些字數少用字淺的書, 他都可自讀！
通常, 選書方向以當時興趣為主
之前是天文方面的書（8大行星的順序, 特色都很清楚！！）
目前以magic school bus 為首愛, 因為學校的圖書日, 會讓他們看半小時的DVD (這學期, 老師幾乎以magic school bus的為主！）

然而,
老媽我唯一還想加強的是--- 專注力與持續力

報告完畢！

忘了宣傳一件事！

樂樂從1個半月前開始戒掉對尿布的依賴！

替他高興之餘, 也慶幸不用再處理尿床之後的清洗工作！！ (補 111509')

日子過的好快！

小妞zozo 已經滿1Y3M即將邁入16M囉～

身高超過 80cm

體重維持在10.5kg左右

牙齒目前上排4顆/下排4顆

<食>

最不用讓人擔心的就是她的好胃口！

依舊維持, 一天3餐加睡前的210c.c 的牛奶

主食以高湯吻仔魚粥為主

搭配百變的食物泥(參考自百歲醫生教我的育兒寶典)為輔

加上不時的水果,餅乾小點心無限供應

<語言發展>

我們都一致認為小妞的認知能力比哥哥來的強上許多

目前她最會講的還是 Dede (Daddy), Mama, 姨嬤(保姆, 外婆家的姨婆）

最好笑的是她叫哥哥時也是說dede,

要吃東西時一律說mum.. (一招闖天下！）

名詞大概只有花/鳥說得最清楚了！（因為叔公跟嬸婆每天都會帶去散步時教會的！）

東西不見or人不在了一併說momo＋手語 (沒了！）

<動作發展>

手部的細部動作很棒（跟哥哥比起來）

尤其是在拿東西吃的時候, 左右手替換著拿也沒問題！最後一口也可已精確地塞入口中, 不會花花落（這點實在很優～）

平常時最愛趴趴走

而且愛爬高爬低的高度流動能力常讓人嚇出一身冷汗

哥哥的stokke餐椅也可上下自如～

平時最愛人家放音樂

音樂一下, 熱舞靈魂便上身！（甩頭, 抖肩都難不倒她～）

<作息>

白天小睡1.5~2hr

晚間約7:30~8:00就寢, 正常狀況可一覺到天亮！

算是完美寶貝！

Upcoming theme of preschool class is "Home and Family".

Thus, each child should bring home a poster size piece of paper to make their Family banner with. There are some direction for making family banner:

1. write family name on top

2. trace each family member's hand and write the name on or under it.

3. with your child, decorate the hands-- use crayons, markers, stickers, paint, photos-- whatever you and your child want.

We actually took some days to finish Lawrence's first homework!

I discussed with Lori the layouts of poster, and how are we goin' to decorate

the traced hands.

And below is our final work! I'm so proud of my Lori, because he did almost 90% of works! except some notes that I added aside.

Today the teacher hands out a sheet about early building up the concepts on math.

I think it's really good one, and would like to share with you~

PICK A PATTERN

Have you ever seen your child hop down a stone walk, being ever so careful to step only on every so many stones? That's a pattern in action! When your child creates or discovers patterns, he or she is exploring mathematical relationships. Looking for patterns can help your child make sense of mathematical problems. For example, skip counting by tens creates the pattern 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and so on. Your child can use this understanding to solve related math problems such as, "if one lollipop costs 10 cents, how much will five costs?"

樂在跳計數方面沒什麼問題;

主要是因為樂對於等差的概念很強

所以, 你只要跟他說, “樂從2,4,6,8,10 開始數, 數到100“ 他便可以一直往下數...

尤其, 自從今年暑假我讓他看了一片九九乘法的DVD之後

他對數字的概念更強了,

從1~10幾乎都可以一直數到1000.... 如果他有更多的耐心的話還可以一直數下去！

至於"if one lollipop costs 10 cents, how much will five costs?"這一題應用題

直接念英文給他時, 他只回答了一句：what's "cost"?

翻成中文之後, 他馬上就回答 “50"了～

Moving Patterns............................................

When you take a walk with your child (or just head out to the bus stop), take turns making pattern for the other to replicate. For example, hop on one foot twice, then hop on both feet three times. Repeat to make a pattern.

樂的四肢協調還沒那麼優,

所以我覺得這部份是可以再加強喔～

Guess My Pattern..........................................

Give your child an assortment of dried pasta shapes, stickers, or pieces of cereal. Let him or her start a pattern with the pieces. Add on to your child's pattern, then switch places: You make a pattern for your child to finish.

這是一個很好玩的練習！尤其如果要加強邏輯推理的思考能力的話！

當然用物品玩接力也會是以一個不錯的好選擇喔～

Look for opportunities for your child to skip count. 利用日常生活用品來幫助孩子練習skip count是個不錯的點子呢！

Starting from this fall, Lawrence entered Preschool class (Dinosaur Class)

Ms. Senczi, his teacher for the 2009-2010 school year. And she pointed out that thorough out this school year, this class will focus on development of social skills, motor skills, oral language, phonetic awareness, handwriting, and early literacy skills.

Regarding to the development of early literacy skills, she handed out a sheet of reading log to encourage the build-up of reading habit at home.

我想後頭沒車跟著我, 我也就順勢等阿伯看完水果後靠邊讓我繼續開

在我搖下車窗想請阿伯靠邊的同時,

一旁有位婦人提醒了他別在路口停留...

所以, 我又順勢往前開去...

第一堂打擊樂的課, 是在主日學的教室圓滿完成的！

我是沒有在一旁觀看啦！

只不過, 大家一致認為樂很乖（有別於以外的活潑）, 有在follow 老師上課的步調！

我想老師應該也還蠻頭痛的吧！有學齡前的, 也有小學高年級生

識譜程度差異之大之外, 學齡前的孩子, 大字也都不認得幾個

更遑論年紀最小的樂！

不過, 一個鐘頭左右的課, 老師還教了蠻多東西

L: 可是

K: （又來了！）

L: 大人要教啊！這樣我才會學啊！

後來 zozo 加入戰局之後

你陸續又聽到遠方傳來樂碎碎念的聲音

- 小搗蛋又來囉～我已經夠生氣囉～（因為zozo仍處於破壞期啊！噗！）

- 你流口水弄到我的衣服很噁心耶

- “妹你是搗蛋壞精靈喔“～

zozo 這時竟然假哭了起來

“妹你還哭！“ 試圖威脅她不要放聲哭, 以免惹來老媽關切的眼神～

後來妹不知怎麼識相的收手,

樂這時展現無比的高EQ稱讚她妹說 “妹你好棒！“

- 後來, 你以為西邊無戰事了嗎？nope!

zozo後來覺得無聊, 所以又朝老哥的玩具進攻

樂抓起妹的手便說：

“妹, 你停下來, 我要跟你說話！

“你真的要玩嗎？

“我不喜歡你這樣耶～

- 最後, 玩具玩完了

照舊我都會要求他收拾乾淨

今天, 不曉得是被zozo 盧太久了還是怎樣, 竟然回說

“媽我玩過了換妹完了“

一點都沒有想收玩具的意思！

樂超愛數字的！不過書寫的數字就像在畫圖一般隨性

每每寫到8, 都會被我念

因為數字8老是被寫成大無限

1.
今日吃午餐時, 湯品中有樂最愛的丸子
這小子當然開始狼吞虎嚥的起來
我一方面擔心他的吃像難看, 另一方面又擔心他被噎著
所以我說, 樂, 吃東西要吃小口一點, 不然很容易 choke 耶~
樂馬上回答說:
"好, 媽, 我知道!" (標準答案, 知道這樣不會再繼續被念)
"可是,
我這樣可以吃得比較快啊!"

(這小子, 每次吃飯, 好吃的東西都大口大口得胡亂吞; 剩餘的食物就使出一貫的拖延戰術...
所以, 每次吃飯至少都得耗上 45~60min不等耶~)

因此, 他這樣說, 純粹是想糖塞我嗎?

2.
最近, 樂對金錢的觀念越來越清晰
假使有人問他說: "xx東西很貴, 你買的起嗎?/你有錢嗎?"
他就會提及他的 "兩萬塊"???
別問我他哪來的兩萬塊, 連我都摸不著頭緒他從哪去生出這筆錢的!
於是,
婆問了樂說, "寶貝, 你有兩萬塊喔?!"
L: 對阿!
G: 放在哪啊?
L: 那是秘密, 秘密就是不能跟別人說!
頓時, 婆臉上出現三條線!! 噗~

我也有問過, 樂同樣的問題
我說, "樂, 你有兩萬塊喔?!" "誰給你的啊?"
L: 我小時候很乖, Dede (爸) 給我的啊~
K: 那你放在哪裡?
L: 是秘密, 不能告訴你! 因為財不露白 (又在落成語了!)
K: 你跟媽講沒關係啦!
L: 在房間
K: 房間哪裡ㄚ?
L: 我忘記了!

7 月的最後一天, 小烏龜的生日

Zoe 也滿13個月又3天了!

-- 撒嬌電力依舊滿格

-- 眼睛對焦的問題已漸漸減緩, 目前除了超想睡覺時或剛睡醒時, 對焦還是不太好之外~

一切都還好!

-- 手部的精細動作操作也很棒, 尤其很會用大拇指和食指撿取地上的東西... 算是家中的清道夫..噗!

-- 食量還是超驚人!

清晨的一瓶奶 (180cc), 之後早/中/晚餐, 皆可吃上一碗約 210cc. 份量的什錦粥

不含餐與餐之間的水果/餅乾/小蛋糕等甜點...

-- 喜歡用親吻的方式叫哥哥起床, 再替哥哥遞上水杯（非常撒嬌地！）

-- 開始有放手走的勇氣！雖然只有3.4步！

有本書叫做--125遊戲, 孩子注意力更集中

昨天, 拿出來讓樂嘗試著玩, 順便練樂的專注持續能力

這本書主要分作5大遊戲區

迷宮/連連看/數字著色/破解密碼/找出躲藏的字

每區都包含了25個題目

今天玩了迷宮區（myth)

25個迷宮題目, 他老兄不到20分就全部玩完了！

算是有乖乖坐在位子上玩上個15分鐘以上！大進步！！

今天帶樂回診
最近黃鼻涕卡得兇, 老是聽到他在吸鼻涕的聲音
上週五帶他去看家醫科, 醫生說, 這是過敏性鼻炎的症狀
吃了四天的藥, 鼻涕不見減少, 又出現了痰聲
加上本週五我們又要出國, 實在擔心樂的狀況
但是這次, 醫生還是說基本上還是過敏引起的癥狀
因為扁桃腺的紅腫並不嚴重, 很多過敏的孩子都會如此
再加上鼻涕逆流的卡痰現象, 樂樂常會有想要清喉嚨的衝動
醫生建議, 除了多喝水之外, 拍背排痰也可減緩一些不適的狀況喔~

最後, 醫生建議可做急/慢性過敏源檢測, 可避免因為環境或不當飲食引起不必要的不適
好說歹說, 才讓樂願意打針抽血 (約10cc.)
雖然看到針頭時, 樂驚恐的說, 不要不要!
但是, 在老媽我成功用數數 (從1數到100) 轉移他的注意力後...
過程整個大成功!
沒哭, 沒鬧, 還得到2張獎勵貼紙咧!

挫折忍受度

樂不是個勇於接受挑戰的小孩!
因為他實在不喜歡輸的感覺
以前, 碰到困難, 他總是試了一下就說,
"好難, 我不會!"
"你幫我做!"
"我不要玩了!"
隨著年紀的增長, 我慢慢覺得這是一件他要嘗試著克服的挑戰!
所以, 總是會叫他再試試看, 我會陪著他一起將事情完成

今天, 發生了一件有趣的事情,
而他是這樣處理他面對到的挫折

今天老師要求孩子們玩搜尋的遊戲
從一開始的點名搜尋, 到之後的配對搜尋
樂的成功率沒有其他小孩來的高!
這時,
他沒說他不玩的, 也沒說好難, 不想玩之類的話,
他轉守為攻, 拿出他最擅長的數字遊戲
反問其他小孩說:
"來, 你說, 40+8等於幾?"
拜託, 4歲左右的小孩誰在乎幾加幾等於幾啊!
樂等了一會兒, 沒人回應, 他接著說:
"等於48"
"好, 那48+8等於幾?"

這小子, 竟然想用轉移目標的方式來剉剉同學們的銳氣
有沒有無俚頭!

我們家的老大-- 樂樂
最近被我罵的很慘

雖然最主要的原因都是我個性急又沒耐心
但他老兄呢?
緩的時候, 就好像活再另一個世界似的, 聽人說話, 總是左耳進右耳出地
急的時候, 就像旋風似的, 衝啊! 跑啊! 應該駟馬都難追上他吧!
怎麼說呢?

我一看到其實就想把它扔掉, 因為實在覺得它看起來太噁心
樂卻一直喃喃自語說: Ms. Sencey說回家就可以吃!
我卻一直想勸樂放棄吃它的念頭
這時候, 樂又開始說道了
L: 媽, 它 (包裝袋)上面寫的是Gummy耶, 不是 Gum耶
K: 然後呢? (一付就是很不想回應的樣子!)
L: 不是Gum, 就可以吃啊!
K: 為什麼? (持續興趣缺缺的回應中)
L: 它就不是口香糖啊? (我們家的規定, 小孩8歲之後才可以吃口香糖!!)
K: 誰說不是口香糖就可以吃啊? 我不是說現在不要吃嗎?
L: 為什麼不能吃啊? Ms. Sencey就說回家就可以吃!
K: 因為我們還沒回到家阿! 而且它看起來就很噁心的樣子耶..那是牙齒耶? 你敢吃喔?!
L: 媽, 哪只是像牙齒的QQ糖啦! 你都沒有試試看, 就說不要吃喔! 那是人家送給我的糖果耶, 我想吃怎麼辦!?
K: OOXX中 (突然, 一時語塞!)
K: 喔! 那回家再說!

P.S. 一直到今天, 那包噁心的糖還是沒被吃掉! 算是我的大成功嗎?!

* 早安少女--
一起床, 迎接大家的就是微笑! 很少哭喔~ 很棒吧!
特別愛叫哥哥起床! 摸摸~ 拍拍~ 還會遞茶水喔~

* 是個愛撒嬌的女孩
特別愛用頭和老爸/哥哥/叔公蹭來蹭去!

* 依然只願意放手走個2,3步;
目前強項: 扶著東西暴走; 目前爬行的速度應該可以勇奪寶寶爬行冠軍吧!

* 很愛和人互動! 跟怕生的哥哥迥然不同

* 生平第一次生病, 來的快去的慢; 過程堪稱一波三折啊~~
從7/3 咳嗽發燒看診後,
剛開始一度懷疑是發玫瑰疹的前兆,
後來, 轉變成上呼吸道的病毒感染
再來又感染上腸胃型的病毒感染 (腹脹得很厲害...食慾超差的~~)+鼻涕逆流~~
大變啊~
再來又變成支氣管積痰, 若不趕緊將痰排出, 很可能轉變成肺炎 (有沒有很恐怖!)
接下來...
就是一連串的拍背排痰
拍到zo 看到我就想逃
==> 終於, 今天回診,
醫生送了媽咪一個生日大禮就是----完全康復了! 可以打預防針了!

* 每天的依依不捨肥皂劇只對老爸和朱媽媽上演
依舊開心地和媽咪我揮揮手BYE BYE~ (跟我完全沒有分離焦慮!)

* 洗鼻子後, 竟然擤出一塊黃鼻涕! Gosh!

* 今天行程: 去看阿公 (墓園說成牧場)--> 去淡水射汽球飛鏢-->京華城5樓

連續幾晚都晚睡 (約9:00入眠)
一下說他想阿公, 說阿公快要忘記他了!
一下說想看阿公, 想摸摸他, 想那些放入棺木的花謝了嗎? (老爸說, 他竟然還清晰記得告別式當天的種種..)
一下又說, 他認識的人 (大人/小孩)都不喜歡他了 (潛意識覺得妹妹較受寵!)
又說, 沒有人陪他睡, 他會很寂寞, 然後又補上一句-- 媽, 你愛我嗎?
有沒有厚話!!!

後來, 週日當天的行程是他睡前決定的!

* 去到老爸那兒, 因為天氣還不錯, 我們多待了一會兒!
帶去的花是樂樂自己主動插上的! (還有阿祖那兒的!)
Zoe 也在那開心地扶著走來走去!
還會看著阿公的照片揮手說 hi (音似啦!)

老爸, 看到他們來看你, 一定很開心吧!

樂後來無來由地大聲地叫了好幾聲阿公後,
還回頭跟我說: 我叫那麼大聲, 阿公都沒有回答耶~
剎時間, 還真不知該如何回答~
我只能告訴他,
對阿公要有 Faith (信心)-- 信心就是 you cannot see it, but you believe it!
阿公雖然不在身邊, 不過他一定會在天上保護你和zo的!

老杯, 你會一直在天上看顧著守候著我們吧!
應該也會很心疼常被我教訓的寶貝們吧!

* 時間不夠! 所以skip 淡水射氣球的行程, 直接前往京華城 5F
5F簡直是兒童天堂, 尤其是Tom's World (湯姆熊的娛樂世界)
裡頭其實吵的很, 所以先和樂約法三章--只能玩5種遊戲
樂感興趣的都是球類
有籃球, 保齡球, Table Hockey, 擲球, 最後玩了打鼓遊戲...

小子玩得挺盡興的!

* 在樂的房間找了個空牆, 打算張貼他的作品 (學校的artwork/ 隨手寫的數字...)
3M的無痕掛勾都需要經過24HR的等待, 才能掛上東西
小子不願意等那麼久, 急著把軟木板掛上...
結果當然是掉了下來..
不過, 根據老爸轉述..
樂因為一意孤行, 導致掛鉤脫落
不敢求救..
所以自己用膠水黏..發現沒用
又用膠帶貼成米字型!
真是哭笑不得啊!

* 最近很愛說 "好啦! 好啦!"
一派敷衍的樣子, 很討揍!

* 還是在清喉嚨!

* 今天去試上一堂一對一的腦力開發課程
樂樂玩得還蠻開心地!
媽媽我感興趣的完全不是 "腦力開發"或是要孩子"贏在起跑點"這些玩意
我純粹想看看這個讓很多家長都趨之若鶩的課程到底有什麼吸引小孩的地方

純發現:
1. 對年紀小的孩子, "音律"教學是很能catch 孩子們的注意
2. "腦力開發", 純粹就是以不同的遊戲教具將孩子的觀察力, 記憶力, 邏輯思考, 整合能力, etc在不斷反覆練習之後, 產生能力的提升

* 今天發明一種撲克遊戲 (invented by Lori)
遊戲規則如下:
Player: 3人
關主: 樂樂
每人前面有18張牌 (這是關主隨意排列的)
P.S.: 為什麼會每個人有18張牌, 沒人教過他 (54/3=18); 18這個數字, 極有可能是上週日去社子阿祖家看長輩們玩麻將得來的靈感吧!
由關主喊牌, 喊到牌即可將面前的牌丟到中央, 最先將面前的牌丟完的人贏得勝利
神奇的是, 這小子, 1~k and joker 隨意地喊牌,
可是卻湊巧的沒有重複喊牌
而且還有空幫玩家找牌丟出
真是好玩!

* 今天和Zoe 抱來抱去; Zoe 玩得不亦樂乎

* 今日回診, 醫生說我們排痰做的不夠好, 繼續吃藥, 繼續拍痰, 下週一再度回診
* 保母不願意做壞人, 真是棘手阿!
* 拍痰拍到媽媽的右手抽筋 (醫生說, 左右後背都要拍, 一邊約5分鐘!)

*連續和哥哥相擁的樣子真可愛! 可惜沒能拍照!

*今天繼續暴走 (大部分是扶著極速趴趴走; 除非是短到約2~3步的距離, 才願意嘗試放手走..)
依然非常惜肉啊!

下1樓結完帳後, 明明正對面就是販賣部
腦袋還在想著, 買杯咖啡來提神吧!
可是樂什麼也沒說,
媽媽我什麼也沒想就推著推車下停車場, 準備LOAD貨上車

車子才開上平面道路
小子突然發現,
L: 媽, 我剛剛跟你說我餓了, 你都沒買東西給我吃!
K: ㄟ.. 你只有說 "好香"又沒說"我餓了"
L: 媽, 我餓了啦! 我要吃CLAM CHOWDER
K: 可是我們要回家了耶 (持續開離COSTCO中)
L: 媽, 你都沒聽我講話, 我說我餓了耶~ (聲音變激動高亢)
K: 可是, 再繞回去很麻煩耶!
L: 我很生氣!
K: 生什麼氣啦!?
L: 生我自己的氣啦!
K: 為什麼要生自己的氣? (持續白目地問)
L: 我生我自己的氣, 因為我講話你都沒有專心聽!
K (OS): 明明什麼都沒講, 還什麼有講沒有聽!

* 早起有鼻水聲/持續清喉嚨

* 生悶氣
在等巫婆老師上課時候,
與 Edison發生數次的肢體衝突
要求與對方道歉, 卻一直不是很情願表達歉意
後來進教室後, 兩人肢體衝突還是不斷
在 Edison被母親帶走之後, 樂的情緒相當低落!
之後, 在我準備接他回家時, 巫婆老師說今天整堂課都在生氣
甚至撕破了好幾張當日作品製作所需要的特殊紙品
之後, 巫婆老師建議他去拿幾塊黏土來揉捏或敲打
somehow, it works magically
雖然你事後問他到底在生什麼氣
他說他在生自己的氣
在反覆引導之下,
樂說出,
我喜歡Edison, 喜歡和他玩
所以, Edison 不在, 覺得不開心

<媽媽總結>
1. 一方面覺得自己雖數度與Edison 發生拉扯或推擠, 但自己並沒錯, 甚至不想被強迫認錯!!
2. 朋友先行被帶走, 缺少夥伴陪同, 上課樂趣少一半!
3. 朋友被指責並被帶走, 罪惡感尤生 (媽媽純猜臆!!)

今天睡前, 我們共讀了一本書
Little Bear's Visit

書中第一篇談到了拜訪Grandfather and Grandmother's house
little bear 實在太喜歡祖父母, 各給了他們一個擁抱!

我跟樂說,
see, little bear likes his grandpa and grandma so much!
that's why he gives them both a hug! how sweet he is!

接著我說, 你都很少給grandpa 和 grandma 擁抱
樂說: 我有啊
我說: 你都很少給阿公抱抱
樂說: 我有啊! 我小時候有啊, 可是我現在都抱不到他了~
不過, 他會在天上保護我還有婆啊!

接著他又說,
阿公不在我們就要照顧婆
如果, 有一天婆死掉了, 我們就要照顧漂亮姨
我便回說, 是誰跟你說的
樂說: 沒有人告訴我, 我就是知道啊~

Lori/ 4Y1M: Family Fun Day @ Happy Kids

The school hosts an annual event at the end of the school year.
They designed 9 different attractions at different rooms. And they are:
1. Face painting (Lori did not want to try on this game)
2. Balloon Animals
3. Ping pong toss
4. Obstacle course
5. Fishing
6. Bubbles and Oobleck
7. Cookie decoration
8. Jumping castle
9. Jellybean guess

Lori loved the Jumping Castle the most, he visited it twice and did the flip-flop and flop-flip crazily. He also visited No. 3and 4 twice.

He stayed at the Balloon animals room the longest because every kids get to place an order to the Mr. Balloon and get what he/she wants. You won't believe what Lori ordered, what he wants is an "ANT". The balloon man made him an orange ant and also create a blue helmet that can hold the ant on top of it! It looks pretty cool on him indeed!

Lori also made an guess on the total sum of number of jellybean in a big glass jar. His bold guess is 1,000. Unfortunately, he did not get it right! Fortunately, the boy who got the whole jar of jellybean is quite generous to share some of the beans with Lori. And he feels so happy about it too!

I guess Lori is having a fun day today!

學期末了, Nursery class 舉辦了一場化妝舞會
主題設定是童話世界的人物, 家長可逕自幫孩子挑選適合他/她扮演的人物
Ms. Franchuk設計了主題遊戲, 主題遊街(校內), 主題點心,
希望孩子能快樂地慶祝最後在小班的日子, 並準備迎接中班的來臨

一開始, 樂想扮演難度實在有點高的Dragon..
我試圖勸說他裝扮成魔術師(因為最簡單, 只要找頂高帽和魔術棒即可, 至於服裝隨便搭配都可應付了事!!)
可是, 固執的樂可不是那麼好洗腦的啊~

最後實在因為時間逼近, 只好在活動的前一天拉著鄭在放假的Mark 先生,
我們走了一趟長安西路試圖找到適合樂樂的costume.

最後找到兩套戲服--魔法師以及羅馬武士 (PS.可佯裝成王子;花兩套的錢可做三種裝扮!嗯, 划算!)

雖然最後, 他選擇扮演 "王子"

不過到了學校, 我想 Ms. Franchuk 根據他的服裝, 指派他扮演 Knight
因為他帶了個盾牌回家!!
哈哈!

當天我們問他, 誰今天打扮的最漂亮

已經好久都沒update這小子的紀錄
4歲的男孩
他的思考邏輯有時令我們噴飯, 有時又令我們面面相觑,無言以對!

今天早上他突然想到2週前, 我們去了一趟淡水老街
小子當時玩了一種飛鏢射氣球的遊戲
他(L)說, 嗯..今天我不用上課, 我想去淡水
他爸(M)說, 要去做什麼?
L: 我想去射飛鏢
M: 我覺得還是等你長大一點再去玩射飛鏢的遊戲好不好; 因為你上次射飛鏢的時候, 老闆都躲的遠遠地, 怕被你射到!
L: 因為我很有力氣啊!我有射中一個氣球耶!
M: 12隻飛鏢才射中一個氣球
L: 不然我這次用28隻飛鏢好了..這樣我就會射中3個汽球了!

(ㄟ...哪來的邏輯啊~ 誰說手上的飛鏢多, 命中率就會增加!)

昨天, 我善意向樂勸說要如何愛護妹妹這件事
我(K)說, 樂ㄚ, 你都不讓妹妹來你的房間玩, 這樣好像不太好喔
樂(L)說, 因為她都沒有經過我的同意啊
K: 妹妹她又還不會說話, 怎麼經過你的同意啊
而且, 你還不是自己進妹妹的房間,玩她的玩具
L: ㄟ..她就不會回答, 所以我就自己進去啊

<動作表現>
有自己特有的表達能力 --愛笑, 愛哭, 愛撒嬌

時常嗯嗯,啊啊的要你抱她或是放下她

有時更是賴皮的低音喊叫 (女中音)哭鬧, 非達目的勢不罷休
開心時, 會用雙手拍打別人來表達開心程度 (別看她年紀小, 手勁倒是不小呢!)

拒絕人時倒是很直接, 轉身或是用手推開都是慣用的招數

會用雙手揮手Bye bye, 單手揮Hello, Hi

<能力表現>
已經雙手雙膝爬行一段時日,
約莫在老爸剛不在的那段時間, 四肢肌肉的運用進步神速 (可能老爸有暗中加持!)
十足是個小冒險家的模樣
四處流連,
家中最常逗留的地方除了鏡子前, 就是樂的房間 (Reading corner)

除了爬行, 雙腳的肌力已足夠撐起他想站起來的衝動
目前偶爾會作的表演項目有:
1. 嘗試著站個幾秒, 等大家拍手
2. 扶著東西走
3. 爬上桌抓東西吃, 或搶哥哥玩到正興頭上的玩具 (多半是討罵挨囉~)
4. 自己下床, 下沙發椅 (有人在旁邊的話, Zoe 絕不自己來..精的很~)

5. 躲貓貓-- 還會說 "Boo"呢!

謝謝家人不吝給予Zoe鼓勵與讚美, 我想這小妮子對自我成就的滿足感應該很高吧!

手部精細動作:
手部操作更加精巧了! 會使用大拇指和食指拿東西起來左右手交換玩弄
雖然很愛吃, 不過把食物拿起來再放進口中還不熟練
(實在是因為Zoe 就是個"慣"養出來 "茶來伸手, 飯來張口"的標準好命女)

超級愛玩面紙盒抽抽樂以及她丟我們檢的遊戲, 樂此不疲啊~

喜歡假裝拿東西給你, 拉扯半天也不放手

<語言表現>
會發出Dede, mamama 的聲音, 有時覺得是有意識的叫人, 有時候又好像是隨便叫叫而已

最近, 最會說的話, 是 "花", 發音還不錯喔

Happy Birthday to my lovely child-- Lawrence.

4-Year-Old Birthday photos

This is the first time we arrange a birthday party for Lawrence.
Not only @ school but also @grandma's house & our sweet home too.

I prepare cup cakes for each of his firends and also all the teachers (Lawrence insists on giving all the teachers a small thank-you treat! That's very sweet of him)

Also, 8"-size aluminum ballons bought from PartyShop for each kid; Lori chose the one with Nemo on top! Very suits him!! And a take-home goody bag for everyone!

After school, we went to Da-An park as usual, and then we bought a birthday cake for evening celebration! Everything went perfectly as planned, and I guess he was having a great time.. for the smiles he wore on his face all day says it all...

Mark bought him a basket backboard with hoop of course, he was so excited all nite until he fall asleep.

What a intriguing answer he replied to my uncle when he said Lawrence "when would your next celebrating birthday come?" My Lawrence said "When I am 8-year-old" Do you see his logic behind?

To my gifted and lovely son, I really hope you did enjoy your birthday that I threw especially for you!

Her upper and lower central incisors were all out in past 2 month (8M/9M).
We tried to establish her eating habit since she was 6M old.

Currently,
Her baby food intake is normally 1 cup (180ml) of veggie, 1 cup of fish porridge (w/ lentil and frozen bean curd) and 1 cup of fruits puree a day in between her formula feeding schedule (150ml*3~4 times/day).

Suggestions:
If you don't deal with too many poo-poo diaper all day, don't take veggie in the morning!
Or maybe you can decrease the fiber intake or certain beans...

Eulogy to my father

我雖然行過死蔭的幽谷，也不遭害。因為祢與我同在，你的杖、你的竿都安慰我。

從沒想過您會是以這樣的一種方式離開。

才記得緊握著您溫暖的左手, 心裏是又氣急又不捨得地看著您痛苦不堪的臉…..送您進開刀房之後, 心想說這次應該和之前的四次手術一樣, 開完刀休息個幾天應該就可以回家了。而原先將開完刀的您，送進加護病房的安排，也只是想讓您能在最完善的術後照護下慢慢痊癒；卻萬萬沒想到，這次的病魔來勢洶洶, 而您的身體在開完刀後，復元的情況也一直沒有想像中來的那麼樂觀。病房裡外都飄散著一股沉重的氣氛，似乎怎樣也輕鬆不起來。

那個清晨, 一通急電, 我隨手抓了包包就狂奔地往路口去招攔了輛計程車前往醫院。一路上, 我的雙手一直緊緊合十, 急切地求主不要這麼快地接您走, 我什麼都還沒準備好, 而且我也還沒來得及跟您說上一句話呢! 口中也不自覺得喃喃自語地說, “爸加油好不好~ 爸你要等我喔~”

然而, 您的人生終點卻這麼出現了。最後, 在牧師與家人的祝禱之下, 您卸下那已揹負在身上長達15年之久的苦痛重擔。熟睡的臉龐，就如同嬰兒依偎在母親身旁安心滿足的模樣。看著您的安詳睡容, 我的心中就算有再多的捨不得, 也只能順服神的旨意並接受您的離開。那一刻, 主接你回天家與久別的阿嬤相伴。從此, 我的身邊將不會再有您的陪伴。

老爸，真的很難想像您已經離開我們了。對於您已不在身邊一事, 我始終無法開口跟樂樂説明。正處於似懂非懂的年紀的他, 在知道您生病住院後, 總是問我: 阿公咧? 阿公什麼時候回來啊? 有天早上, 他還特地跟我說他向上帝以及天上的阿祖要了 “勇氣”, 要送給您, 說這樣您就會趕快好起來! 上週六, 我帶著他到您的靈堂前, 他一看到您的照片, 便對我說: 阿公咧? 我的阿公變成天上的阿公了嗎? 更讓我一時語塞哽咽, 不知該如何回應他~

老爸, 想您一定也知道, 樂樂他很愛你。謝謝您那麼疼愛樂樂, 謝謝您給他滿滿的幸福回憶。我想他永遠不會忘記，他有一位超級愛他的阿公將會在天上守護著他長大。而對於您同樣疼愛的知知, 我日後也一定會讓她知道阿公對他的疼愛不亞於哥哥。

老爸, 謝謝您一向對我最包容, 我想是因為家裡就我們倆的個性最像。我們都心直口快, 標準的 “性情中人”。但我知道, 您總是愛我們的, 雖然您口中從來不說。從小到大, 事業總是佔據了您大半的時間, 也因為如此, 您一直無法積極參與我們三個姐弟的成長。儘管如此, 但您記性總是比老媽還好, 總是記得我們小時候所發生的趣事。您記得誰愛做什麼? 愛吃什麼? 雖然您很擅長隱藏您對我們三個小孩的情感, 但我心裡明白, 您對身邊家人的愛總比照顧自己來得多很多。雖然與病痛共處了將近15年，但您絕對是一個努力讓生活過得精采的生命勇者。老爸, 謝謝您給了我半輩子美好的記憶, 真心覺得我的生命中能有您的扶持, 是一件多麼幸福的事。

老爸, 您走後至今也有一段時間了，家裡表面上已恢復正常, 每個人都把對您的思念深深的埋藏在心裡。雖然我的作息並沒有做太大的更動, 但我用忙碌來稀釋自己對您的思念; 而滿檔的行程也壓縮了我的悲傷。第一次發現, 從小到大我好像從沒真正為您做過任何事。為了不再讓自己留下任何遺憾, 我想, 幫忙處理您的後事成為我最後能再盡點微薄心力的事情; 也希望最後的告別式能夠讓您的人生劃下一個完美的句點。

身為家中老大, 我會好好地收拾悲傷情緒; 因為家中還有阿公和老媽在, 您的驟然離去, 讓他們都流了不少不捨的眼淚。也正是因為如此, 身為晚輩的我們更應該堅強。老爸, 請您放心, 學勤和我以及凰仁，會代替您成為老媽和妹妹的左右肩膀, 當她們下半輩子永遠的依靠。

第一次食物泥製作

懸念許久的嬰兒食品製作
終於在今天下午花費約４５分鐘左右後大功告成
P.S.
1. 食材洗滌以及其他準備工作
2. 食材蒸煮/悶燒時間
不含於上述的45分鐘之內

食材:
1. 奶油馬鈴薯 (口感較綿密)數顆
2. 紅蘿蔔2個
3. 洋蔥半個
4. 花椰菜約半顆

no. 1~4 放置大同電鍋蒸煮到熟即可

另準備豬小排/賓仔骨高湯
煮到約剩下4湯碗份量即可 (小排旁的肉都很好吃, 也可以一起放到攪拌機攪拌喔!!)

等所有東西放涼之後
即可放到攪拌機打成泥 (口感要綿滑, 小孩才會喜歡!!)
之後再分裝至小容器即可

以上製作量
約Zoe 1週所應攝取的蔬菜份量
所以, 水果類多以現磨/現壓為主~

Day 2: Feb. 3-- Taipei Zoo

Day 3: Feb. 4-- 陽明山/天文館
好不容易到了山上, 又開始飄雨
只好項沿途的櫻花說掰掰

中途只讓樂在龍鳳谷遊客中心, 灌溉草木後
往山下走

去了一趟天文館
好久沒去囉
竟然展覽館與劇場門票分開販售
而且都是電子售票機耶
好先進ㄛ

不確定樂的狀況可不可以撐完1.5~2HR的劇場
所以就單買展覽館的門票(成人NT$40; 6歲以下FREE)

進場之後, 看到一個熱氣球
每10分鐘, 會升空一次喔
每當熱汽球準備升空時, 都會看到一群小孩圍繞著它在倒數~

天文實在不是我的常項
所以, 我實在也解釋不出的所以然來
從1樓晃到3樓
約莫花了1.5HR
樂其實玩得挺開心, 因為有很多可以手動操作的按鈕
--龍捲風的形成
--地球到月球的距離
--8大行星平台
--春夏秋冬, 南北天空的星象
都玩了很多次耶

最後, 我們到4樓, 一人花了NT$70
搭乘宇宙探險號列車
令人驚喜的是, 隨時可以搭乘喔
故事內容:
由太空站出發，先前往太陽，利用重力加速從內太陽系向外航行，原本計畫中的旅程是逐一遊覽各大行星，但在木星附近卻發生了意外，探險隊進入了外星人的世界，並藉著他們的科技遊歷星系、經歷超新星爆炸與黑洞強大的吸力，突破光速暢遊時空，最後終於安全回到太空站上。
整個旅程約莫10分鐘
還蠻好玩的喔

Day 4: Feb. 5-- 六福村
出發前, 特地到陳根找茶買早餐(大推荐: 乳火餅+胚芽奶茶(me)/乳焙餅+特調奶茶(Lori))
一路雖天候不佳, 但也只不過是飄著綿綿細雨...
不管了, 還是去吧!
不然要怎麼打發這小孩的一天ㄚ~~

先去阿拉伯皇宮區
坐了"阿里巴巴與四十大盜"(旋轉木馬啦!)
本來樂堅持要做"風火輪"
後來聽到服務人員說"要做好, 手抓緊"後
心生緊張, 便決定中途下車
所幸, 服務人員還在檢查大家的安全帶是否扣緊
我們才得以中途逃脫~~

再來, 我們去坐了"蘇丹王大冒險"
樂也是從頭到尾頭也不敢看的趴在我的大腿上 (實在是音效太逼真了啦!!)

再來的"天馬行空", 樂倒是挺愛的!
可以高空俯瞰入園區的廣場
可惜又開始飄雨了~~

在兩人都裝備好雨具之後, 我們來到了南太平洋區
也因為天候不佳
通常十分熱門的"火山歷險"也沒甚麼人在排隊
入口處的指示牌也只放著約15分的牌子
想想15分鐘倒不是很長的時間
所以就先去玩了"巨嘴鳥"---是個沒甚麼特別的設施..就上上下下轉個幾圈而已
之後的"火山歷險"
雖然在大雨紛飛中, 氣溫也整個降了起來
我和樂,
在不停地說 "上帝, 請保護我!" "上帝, 請給我勇氣!"
完成兩圈的衝浪儀式!
幸好幸好, 樂沒被淋濕 (生了兩個小孩的母體, 通常都很魁碩!!)
只不過, 蒼白的臉在灰濛濛的雨中更加慘白
(小孩如果有個愛玩的媽, 請神務必賜給他們強壯的心臟啊!)

中場補償---爆米花&用餐時間

用餐完, 天氣似乎好轉
所以, 朝美國大西部去囉!
先玩 "醉酒桶"(旋轉咖啡杯)
嗯..只能說不是用餐後的最佳選擇啦!

"摩天蓬車", 就是嬰兒版的摩天輪啦!
純粹為了讓樂開心, 湊數用的!

"西部瘋狂列車" 排了一會兒, 約莫20分鐘
與樂拉鋸許久才決定坐在第2排 (因為第1排不能坐)
為了讓樂不那麼緊張
特地跟他說"如果害怕的話, 可以大聲尖叫!!"
不過到最後, 整場好像只有我在叫!
回頭看我們家樂的臉, 依舊--青筍筍

至於"大峽谷急流泛舟", 跟著一大群小孩排到最後
樂決定放棄不坐
可能"火山歷險"的陰影影響太深了吧~~
殘念 #$%^

總計這趟花了停車費NT$100/入場票(成人)NT$890--是的, 樂沒花到一毛錢
玩了8項設施~
嗯...
應該趁樂身高還未突飛猛進前

今天下午, 樂和我動手做點心-- 草莓果凍!

Here is the "Making Jelly for dummies"
1. Put jelly powder in the big pot (that should be easy for kid to do stirring)
2. Pour 200cc hot water into the pot
3. stir it until it well-resolved
4. Pour another 200cc cold water into the pot again, and stir for 1 minutes..
5. Pour the liquid into the containers..

Then, believe it or not, it's done!!

2009.1月,
那時天氣驟變, 超冷的~
不知道是因位冷天開暖氣造成的冬季濕疹
還是因為過敏體質還是副食 (HIPP的玉米粉)引發的異位性皮膚炎

Zoe 的皮膚變得超級差的
臉部皮膚龜裂的超厲害
身體也出現一處一處的乾性紅疹
在皮膚皺摺處(是的,我們家zoe是米其林寶寶!)更加嚴重
就連猛擦我一向覺得是萬靈丹的德國貝恩的雪花膏
也無用
最後, 是MUSTELA 的舒恬良系列(Stelatopia) 救回Zoe吹彈可破的嬰兒肌膚
大推!!!!
當然那一段悲慘的時間,Zoe的副食品也被簡化到只食新鮮水果泥以及HIPP的免敏米粉

一直到7M, 飲食才又恢復正常
除了每天5餐180CC的配方奶之外,
還有2餐蔬菜泥+ 1餐水果泥
對水的果汁ㄧ天約喝100CC
所以白開水的消耗量極低, 約30~40CC不等

[每天作息]
7:30 之前起床
9:00~10:00 睡回籠覺喔!
11:00 點心時間 (水果泥/蔬果泥)
12:00 吃中餐
14:00~15:00 固定小睡時間
15:30 點心時間(水果泥/蔬果泥)
16:00 之前洗澡/喝奶
20:00~21:00 喝奶後睡覺!

當然還是有大出槌的時候
半夜討奶喝的哭鬧只有前世的情人會買帳;
而老媽只會拍拍她的背,要她快睡; 通常睡的比她快比她熟...
