Reading Challenge: The very hungry caterpillar

There is a reading challenge going on @ Happy Kid this month.
The intent is to enocourage kid to develop a solid habit and love of reading.
For each book read, parent needs to fill out circles made of construction papar that will constitute a segmetn of the very hungry caterpillar.

Eulogy to my father

我雖然行過死蔭的幽谷，也不遭害。因為祢與我同在，你的杖、你的竿都安慰我。
(詩篇二十三: 4)

從沒想過您會是以這樣的一種方式離開。

才記得緊握著您溫暖的左手, 心裏是又氣急又不捨得地看著您痛苦不堪的臉…..送您進開刀房之後, 心想說這次應該和之前的四次手術一樣, 開完刀休息個幾天應該就可以回家了。而原先將開完刀的您，送進加護病房的安排，也只是想讓您能在最完善的術後照護下慢慢痊癒；卻萬萬沒想到，這次的病魔來勢洶洶, 而您的身體在開完刀後，復元的情況也一直沒有想像中來的那麼樂觀。病房裡外都飄散著一股沉重的氣氛，似乎怎樣也輕鬆不起來。

那個清晨, 一通急電, 我隨手抓了包包就狂奔地往路口去招攔了輛計程車前往醫院。一路上, 我的雙手一直緊緊合十, 急切地求主不要這麼快地接您走, 我什麼都還沒準備好, 而且我也還沒來得及跟您說上一句話呢! 口中也不自覺得喃喃自語地說, “爸 加油好不好~ 爸 你要等我喔~”

然而, 您的人生終點卻這麼出現了。最後, 在牧師與家人的祝禱之下, 您卸下那已揹負在身上長達15年之久的苦痛重擔。熟睡的臉龐，就如同嬰兒依偎在母親身旁安心滿足的模樣。看著您的安詳睡容, 我的心中就算有再多的捨不得, 也只能順服神的旨意並接受您的離開。那一刻, 主接你回天家與久別的阿嬤相伴。從此, 我的身邊將不會再有您的陪伴。

老爸，真的很難想像您已經離開我們了。對於您已不在身邊一事, 我始終無法開口跟樂樂説明。正處於似懂非懂的年紀的他, 在知道您生病住院後, 總是問我: 阿公咧? 阿公什麼時候回來啊? 有天早上, 他還特地跟我說他向上帝以及天上的阿祖要了 “勇氣”, 要送給您, 說這樣您就會趕快好起來! 上週六, 我帶著他到您的靈堂前, 他一看到您的照片, 便對我說: 阿公咧? 我的阿公變成天上的阿公了嗎? 更讓我一時語塞哽咽, 不知該如何回應他~

老爸, 想您一定也知道, 樂樂他很愛你。謝謝您那麼疼愛樂樂, 謝謝您給他滿滿的幸福回憶。我想他永遠不會忘記，他有一位超級愛他的阿公將會在天上守護著他長大。而對於您同樣疼愛的知知, 我日後也一定會讓她知道阿公對他的疼愛不亞於哥哥。

老爸, 謝謝您一向對我最包容, 我想是因為家裡就我們倆的個性最像。我們都心直口快, 標準的 “性情中人”。但我知道, 您總是愛我們的, 雖然您口中從來不說。從小到大, 事業總是佔據了您大半的時間, 也因為如此, 您一直無法積極參與我們三個姐弟的成長。儘管如此, 但您記性總是比老媽還好, 總是記得我們小時候所發生的趣事。您記得誰愛做什麼? 愛吃什麼? 雖然您很擅長隱藏您對我們三個小孩的情感, 但我心裡明白, 您對身邊家人的愛總比照顧自己來得多很多。雖然與病痛共處了將近15年，但您絕對是一個努力讓生活過得精采的生命勇者。老爸, 謝謝您給了我半輩子美好的記憶, 真心覺得我的生命中能有您的扶持, 是一件多麼幸福的事。

老爸, 您走後至今也有一段時間了，家裡表面上已恢復正常, 每個人都把對您的思念深深的埋藏在心裡。雖然我的作息並沒有做太大的更動, 但我用忙碌來稀釋自己對您的思念; 而滿檔的行程也壓縮了我的悲傷。第一次發現, 從小到大我好像從沒真正為您做過任何事。為了不再讓自己留下任何遺憾, 我想, 幫忙處理您的後事成為我最後能再盡點微薄心力的事情; 也希望最後的告別式能夠讓您的人生劃下一個完美的句點。

身為家中老大, 我會好好地收拾悲傷情緒; 因為家中還有阿公和老媽在, 您的驟然離去, 讓他們都流了不少不捨的眼淚。也正是因為如此, 身為晚輩的我們更應該堅強。老爸, 請您放心, 學勤和我以及 凰仁，會代替您成為老媽和妹妹的左右肩膀, 當她們下半輩子永遠的依靠。

Zoe 的肢體動作發展遠比樂來的慢
她大約是接近8M時開始有往前爬的動作出現
目前觀察到的是
她已可以從躺到爬到坐再爬
可謂是一大進步耶
