Lawrence @ Happy Kids-- Monthly Home Reading Log

Starting from this fall, Lawrence entered Preschool class (Dinosaur Class)

Ms. Senczi, his teacher for the 2009-2010 school year. And she pointed out that thorough out this school year, this class will focus on development of social skills, motor skills, oral language, phonetic awareness, handwriting, and early literacy skills.

Regarding to the development of early literacy skills, she handed out a sheet of reading log to encourage the build-up of reading habit at home.

And below are the books that Lawrence and I read at home in between 8/25~9/10.

1. I spy a school bus (I spy series do great helps on the object search for children)

3. Someday (every time I read this book, my tear rolled down my cheek involuntarily)

8. Curious George-- Goes to an Ice cream shop
9. Olivia

12. Green eggs and Ham (Rhyming book!)
13. The magic school bus-- Fights Germs
14. Let's find shapes
15. Who will be my friends
16. Olivia counts (Read by Lawrence; Literacy reach 90%)
